You may generate more than one type of waste (dry solids, scintillation
vials, aqueous liquids, animal carcasses,...) and each type must
be packaged differently for transportation and disposal. When needed,
we will provide trained personnel to do the packaging, either on
a regular basis or just to show you how for the first time. The
packages will also be surveyed and labeled to meet all the applicable
requirements. Written packaging instructions are provided on the
Licenses page for those who choose to
do their own packaging.

TGA/EMC has on staff both radiological and chemical specialists
available to assist you with your environmental or regulatory needs.
Waste minimization, radiological decontamination, isotopic characterization,
and citation compliance are a few of the services offered. We also
offer leak testing which, includes mailed kits for self-sampling
as well as on-site sampling.
